That part is an international shipment, a customs clearance, and a delivery date that has to land on the same morning as your keys. Your used household goods can enter Germany free of duty and import VAT as Übersiedlungsgut, transfer-of-residence relief claimed on the Zoll customs form 0350, but only if the paperwork is filed correctly, in German, with the right proof of your move. Get it wrong and a container of your own furniture sits at the port, running up storage, while someone asks you for an inventory you packed six weeks ago.
Then there's timing. A long-haul shipment that arrives before your flat is ready needs somewhere to wait; one that arrives after handover leaves you sleeping on bare boards. The delivery, the lease handover, the building lift and the packing crew all have to line up to the day.

We put your move out to vetted international shippers, manage the quotes and compare them like for like: volume, transit time, insurance, and the small print on customs and delivery. You approve one; we hold them to it.

Customs & Zoll
We prepare and lodge the customs paperwork, including the Übersiedlungsgut duty-free relief on Zoll form 0350, so your used household goods clear without duty or import VAT. We deal with the Zollamt directly, so you don't have to.

Which countries do you move from?
Effectively anywhere. We work with international shippers across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. Tell us your origin city and rough volume, and we'll give you a realistic transit time and the customs route before you commit to anything.
How do customs and duty actually work when I bring my things to Germany?
If you're moving your main residence to Germany, your used household goods generally enter free of customs duty and import VAT as Übersiedlungsgut, transfer-of-residence relief. It's claimed on the German customs form 0350, with proof that you're relocating and that the goods are yours and previously used. We prepare and lodge it and deal with the Zollamt directly. New purchases, alcohol and tobacco, and vehicles follow different rules, which we flag in advance.
Can you handle art, a piano, wine or a collection?
Yes, this is the specialist tier. We bring in specialist crews for fine art, pianos and antiques, arrange climate-appropriate transport and bespoke crating, and handle wine and collections with the documentation and insurance they need. These pieces are packed, tracked and placed apart from the general shipment.
What if my new flat isn't ready when the shipment arrives?
We plan for it. Secure, insured interim storage bridges the gap between homes, and we release your goods for delivery the moment the flat is ready, timed to the handover. You're never forced to take delivery into a home you can't yet occupy.
Is my shipment insured?
Yes. We arrange transit insurance at a replacement value we agree with you up front, itemising the high-value pieces, rather than defaulting to a nominal per-kilo figure. The cover, the valuation and the claims route are all explained before anything ships.
Do you also handle finding the apartment?
We can, and the two dovetail naturally. Our managed apartment search secures the flat and its handover date, and this service times your delivery to land on the same day: one team holding both ends, so the keys and your furniture arrive together.
